RHODE SKIN HAVE JUST RELEASED NEW PRODUCTS AND WE WANT TO TALK ABOUT IT
RHODE SKIN is back with another launch! It has seemed to cause internet conflict BUT, we are here for it. *Adding all items to the basket right away*. Alexa play Mambo Italiano by Dean Martin.
It’s giving… you are living in Positano in a gorgeous airy flat on the cliff side facing the warm blue ocean. You have a lemon tree growing on your balcony that you pick each day to put in your lemon martini. The sun beats down on your tanned body. Your skin is glowing and your hair is in perfect curls. In the distance you can hear the classic Italian tunes coming from a restaurant on the shoreside. The vibes are immaculate.
These are the vibes for Rhode’s new summer launch. Okay, fine we may have had a season full of butter yellow but this is EUROPEAN SUMMER YELLOW. And we are so excited for it.
Just the other day, Rhode launched a collection of new (some limited edition) products.
We have the Peptide Lip Tint in Lemontini, a yellow Summer Lip Case and matching Rhode Bubble Bag, the Glazing Mist and two new Pocket Blush shades, in Tanline and Sun Soak.
For starters, aren’t these the cutest names EVER?? Rhode have a talent of making you want to purchase everything just from hearing the names alone. Yes, I want to get ready for my vacation dinner whilst applying my Lemontini Lip Tint and Tanline Blush. Yes, I want to soak my hot face with the Glazing Milk. Yes please and thank you Ms Hailey Rhode Bieber.
Rhode NEVER misses with the products. The Lemontini Peptide Lip Tint is described as a “shimmery sheer gold”. Did someone say summer in the early 2000s? Shimmery. Gold. It’s a win. Plus, a matching phone case. What else could we need for our Italian summer?
The blushes are described as “pinky tan” for Tanline and “spiced orange” for Sun Soaked. Two darker and more bronzy shades for our summer skin? We love.
Side note: Hailey’s polka dot yellow nails in the product images… a need.
It’s been a constant chat that the Rhode tints go grainy after a while of sitting in the tubes. Hailey recently announced that they have changed the formula so that this no longer happens. We love a queen who listens to her people.
You may have heard comments suggesting this drop isn’t “Rhode enough”. It’s too bright, it’s not ‘soft girl’ and on brand. Does anyone remember the guava or the peach case and tint from last year? It seems Rhode loves a pop of colour and this isn’t something new.
Hailey, you did it once again. We now all want to be on the Italian coast, sat by the pool with a lemon sorbet in one hand and the Lemontini Lip Tint in the other.
See you in Positano girls!
